Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River once served as a substitute for the sea, providing the most striking freshwater salmon fishery worldwide. Now, a fish that endured the last ice age faces an uncertain future with the pressures of climate change and human demand. This project explores possible solutions for salmon in the wild and on our plates.
